Edo - The Kabuki Stage is the name of a battle stage featured in Samurai Shodown II. It serves as Kyoshiro Senryo stage during Arcade Mode, or when a new challenger chooses him in Versus Mode. This is the second entry in the recurrent Kabuki stages of the Samurai Shodown series. In Japan the name of this stage is Edo - Kyoshiro Senbonsakura (江戸 ・狂死郎千本桜 Kyōshirō Senbonsakura?), where the word "Senbonsakura" is used as an expression that celebrates the cherry blossom flowering on Mt. Yoshino. Also refers to the famous spots where many cherry trees are planted and flowering areas.
